Today was everything that yesterday was not.... cool, misty and grey. Yet, in the midst of the grey, low light, I found brilliant colour, as if nature was refusing to admit that the day was sombre. I was fascinated, and had to take pictures of course!
What surprised me most was that the still-blooming roses still somehow seemed backlit by sunlight, although the sun was nowhere to be seen. And, even in the mist, the last of summer's bees were buzzing in the salvia in the garden across from our building!
Nature NEVER ceases to amaze me!!
